It seems that there has been a huge spike in multi-level marketing companies since the dot com boom (see Wikipedia’s MLM entry). What’s interesting about this trend is that the democratization of the internet has had a huge impact on the way that MLM’s target consumers and distributers. Where they once depended on word of mouth and personal relationships, they now rely on the mass exposure that the internet offers.
However, advances in the online sphere aren’t enough to satiate the rapidly growing MLM industry. Some companies have found a success by purchasing MLM leads from companies that specialize in finding interested individuals in niche markets.
While the MLM community is always unpredictable, one thing you can count on is that the internet will play an ever increasing role in the way they do business.

It’s a phenomenon that is quickly gaining popularity as more and more Americans realize the advantages to working from home. Home-based businesses and careers provide flexibility, professional independence, and often a substantial paycheck. So what kind of jobs will net you the most working from home?
- Daycare - parents will pay top dollar to ensure their kids are watched over and cared for by someone trustworthy. Costs (depending on how many children are in daycare) can exceed $100 a day.
- Music Education - private music lessons generally last 30 to 60 minutes but can cost upwards of $50, depending on the experience and skill level of the teacher.
- Entrepreneurship - while how much money you’ll earn starting your own company or how successful the business is obviously depends on the industry and whole lot of other factors, have a successful start-up will give you the flexibility many white collar workers dream of!
- Baked goods - ideal for stay at home moms and homemakers, selling high-end baked goods (such as wedding cakes) is a great way to earn extra money.
- Telemarketing - not the most ideal job working from home which is why it pays so well.

In business class, we just went over project risk management. It is very interesting to see how it applies to life in general–rather than just business.
So with risk management, you need to assess the risk and determine how to deal with it or avoid it. But some risks are worth it because without taking risks, you won’t get anywhere in business.
This is the same with:
- relationships
- jobs
- friends
- life in general
I just find it so interesting that what makes for a good business makes for a good life.

Even though the hustle and bustle of march madness is over, you can still get free NBA sports picks. I am sad it is over, but wasn’t it great!? How did everyone do on their brackets?

Yes, there are really fruits called that. Although they don’t wear capes, they still are amazing for a healthy lifestyle. One company that has it right is Jus International. They sell an antioxidant drink that includes 23 different ingredients–some of which are super fruits, including blueberries and noni fruit. If you want a natural boost, try a drink that includes super fruits. You’ll be surprised at how great you will feel afterward.

The other day I was on the phone with HSBC (a bank - for those of you who don’t know) and they were playing Scissor Sisters on hold. Random much? I’ve also heard Def Leppard playing on hold for an attorney’s office, 50 cent (no joke) for a credit card company, and a myriad of other poor on hold choices. It all reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Homer lost baby Maggie, so he called a hot line for missing children and they were playing “Baby Come Back” by Player on hold. I mean, how hard can it be to obtain a decent on hold music message? Apparently harder than one would think.

If you have a business and you aren’t getting a lot of feedback regarding your products, services, or organization, there is something you can do. Enterprise Feedback Management is a great tool for any business. Not only does it get feedback from your customers, but you also can get essential feedback from your employees. This way, you can fix any problems or concerns before they get too heated or complicated. A happy customer is a great customer. And the same goes for employees. Try using a survey software designed to help you understand those you interact with.

If you are looking to start your own business or just wanting to start selling things online, how do you decide which company to try? There are so many different choices, different companies. Here are a few tips for choosing the right dropship company for your personal needs.
- Read the contract. This may seem simple enough, but many people don’t do it. They just sign their name to anything. Make sure that you completely understand and agree with the contract.
- Make sure they provide the items and merchandise that you are looking to sell.
- But be willing to take chances, safer chances at first.
The most important thing to look for in a dropship company is to find the one that perfectly matches with your preferences, needs, and financial situation. The best one that I can find is Dropship Design. Good Luck!
