A couple of posts ago, I mentioned that I had recently read up on a money merge account that will help you with an early mortgage payoff. Since then, I’ve been doing everything I can to find out as much as I can about it. I thought I’d share. Here is a great website that has tons of information and the ins and outs of having a money merge account.

I am completely and utterly ecstatic! I just got my economic stimulus money yesterday. Ever since I heard about the economic stimulus payments, I’ve actually been adding to a long list of things that I will buy. Because of the fact that my home renovation projects had to be put on hold because of the horrible economy, something from Insinkerator is first on my list–maybe an instant hot water dispenser. Yes! That sounds good.

After that, I am going to buy some clothes, of course.
And who knows? Maybe I’ll be semi-responsible and make an extra payment on my credit card.
What are you going to spend yours on?

I recently came across some awesome information about how to pay off your mortgage quicker–and it doesn’t have to do with making three monthly payments. I do believe it is relatively new here in the United States. It is called a money merge account. Basically, it takes every single penny that isn’t being used and puts it towards your mortgage. It is making your money work for you. So now every time you see a penny in a parking lot…pick it up and think of what a whole bunch of those could do to your mortgage!

As everyone knows, the U.S. economy is in the toilet. We can see and feel it–especially in our wallets–in gas and food prices. If you need some extra cash to either make ends meet or just to have a little extra dough, try some of these:
- Odd Jobs: People are always looking for help with their houses, yards, and cars. Find something that you are good at or at least enjoy and see if anyone can use your services. Granted, you probably won’t make a lot of money, so don’t quit your day job. It is just something extra to make your wallet feel a little bit more full.
- Sell Online: This is great because you don’t really have to do any extra work. It is simple and profitable. Do you research and find the best products to sell on the best sites. To make it even easier on yourself, find a dropship supplier–that way, you don’t have to store the items in your house. The dropshipper will ship it directly from the warehouse to the purchaser’s house.
- Garage/Yard Sale: Not only will you be making some extra money, but you will be clearing away a lot of your stored junk. If you can, see if you can get a whole block sale going. This way, you will attract even more potential customers.
Good luck. And let’s all hope that the economy recovers soon!
