They Picked That?
The other day I was on the phone with HSBC (a bank - for those of you who don’t know) and they were playing Scissor Sisters on hold. Random much? I’ve also heard Def Leppard playing on hold for an attorney’s office, 50 cent (no joke) for a credit card company, and a myriad of other poor on hold choices. It all reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Homer lost baby Maggie, so he called a hot line for missing children and they were playing “Baby Come Back” by Player on hold. I mean, how hard can it be to obtain a decent on hold music message? Apparently harder than one would think.
