Freight truck drivers earn an average of $17.56 an hour while some are reported to earn $23.75 or more an hour.  Not bad, especially if you are considering a truck driving job.  Keep in mind that minimum is currently only $5.85.   It is interesting that a job that endures so many negative stereotypes is one of America’s best paying, fastest growing, and highest in demand jobs.  Those truckers are laughing all the way to the bank.
